MEFE Soft Grip Boning Knife 5″ Curved

The Mitchell Engineering Soft Grip 5″ curved Boning knife Soft Grip handle is made from Polypropylene (PP) which is strong enough to withstand the toughest of treatment and encased in Polyethylene (PE) which gives the grip a comfy and slip free feel. “MEFE” knives are made to the highest possible standards to achieve the best quality and longevity available.

The 5″ curved blade is made from High Carbon Stainless Steel 420J2 which is heat treated and annealed to obtain a hardness of 50-60 Rockwell. This hardness is tough enough to hold its sharp edge, yet remains soft enough to enable sharpening.

The Soft Grip handles are designed to give a soft and comfy slip free grip. Due to it being a soft grip, it is recommended to use a cut resistant glove on the free hand only. The abrasive nature of protective gloves will damage the handle. In high production where gloves are enforced, we recommend using our Fibrox Handled knives.
